Compressed Natural Gas
Natural gas is one of the most widely used forms of energy today with numerous compressed natural gas (CNG) vehicles, including one out of every five transit buses, operating successfully today in the U.S. CNG vehicles generate fewer exhaust and greenhouse gas emissions than their gasoline or diesel-powered counterparts. Compressed Natural Gas, or CNG, is natural gas that is stored and used under pressure to power vehicles ranging from buses to delivery vehicles to the family car.
CNG generally costs 15 to 40 percent less than gasoline or diesel, making it an affordable alternative for fleet vehicle use. DLZ has assembled a team of experts knowledgeable in the most up-to-date methods and practices for sizing, designing, specifying, permitting and construction of CNG fueling stations.
