Bradford Derrick (DLZ) and Mike Moore (Louisville MSD) will share an innovative approach to MS4 Illicit Discharge Screening, based on Aerial Infrared Thermal Imaging. The session will focus on program development, results, methods and cost effectiveness of the novel program developed to meet MS4 permit requirements for the Louisville and Jefferson Co., KY MS4, which serves over 750,000 people. This program has replaced and enhanced the walking inspection of local streams to identify dry weather illicit discharges, while satisfying permit requirements at half the cost.

Join DLZ and the Louisville MSD on Monday, September 28th at 2:00 p.m. (CST), as part of the MS4 Program Innovations Technical Session #214 (Room N426b).
