The American Society of Highway Engineers featured one of DLZ’s projects in their Winter 2016 magazine SCANNER. The Paris Avenue/Easton Street Roundabout in Stark County, Ohio comes with plenty of features to boost safety, including eliminating “failure to stop” accidents, slowing traffic to 20 to 25 mph and allowing traffic to move more efficiently through the intersection. The roundabout was the first modern roundabout in Stark County and opened to traffic in September 2014. The Stark County Engineer hired DLZ to study and design improvements to the Paris/Easton intersection in Nimishillen Township.
