Oxec Hydroelectric Plant, Guatemala
Hydroelectric project that uses the waters of the Oxec river, discharging them later to the Cahabón river. It consists of a diversion dam with its intake, a conduction system through channels and a pressureless siphon. A loading chamber, where the pressure conduction in steel begins to the powerhouse. The design flow is: 25 m3 / s, the gross head of 111 m and the installed capacity of 25.5 MW.
