IACT will convene its statewide membership in French Lick, Indiana from September 29 through October 1 for their 2015 Annual Conference and Exhibition. DLZ was invited to present the workshop entitled, “Is the Design Build Approach Right for Your Capital Project?” on Wednesday, September 30. As the State of Indiana and some local communities have implemented projects using this and other alternatives to conventional processes, many municipalities have shown interest in whether or not this approach is right for local projects.

Stephen Kromkowski, Principal Architect with DLZ will present general design build concepts, legal requirements, and a joint discussion about the Schererville Community Recreation Center with Schererville Town Manager, Robert Volkmann. Umbaugh Partner, John Seever will provide the municipal finance perspective. The workshop will be moderated by Josh Goode, of DLZ.
