DLZ Industrial Project Managers Steven A. Jones, P.S., CFEDS and Matthew Roberts were selected to present at the Association for Iron and Steel Technology (AIST) Fall Joint Committee Meeting in Burlington, Ontario. On Wednesday, September 21, Steve and Matt discussed “Unmanned Aerial Systems” which focused on the applications of UAS technology and platforms and the associated federal regulations.

AIST is a non-profit organization with 18,000 members from more than 70 countries. With 30 Technology Committees and 22 Local Members Chapters, AIST represents an incomparable network of steel industry knowledge and expertise. The core mission of AIST is to advance the technical development, production, processing and application of iron and steel.

Through its membership in the Project and Construction Management Technology Committee (PCMTC), DLZ was approached by PCMTC Committee leaders to present on this rapidly developing technology.
