The Indiana Department of Transportation contracted DLZ to provide Construction Oversight on the Freedom Bridge Project in Delphi, Indiana. The 300 ft. pedestrian bridge, built in the 1890s, reconnects the historic Wabash & Erie Canal Association’s Monon High Bridge Trail. The Hoosier Heartland Highway (SR 25) development cut the trail, but the Freedom Bridge now spans the highway and reconstructs a bit of history into the surrounding agricultural district. The project is expected to be completed December 2014.
