City of Oak Ridge Right-of-Way Evaluations

As part of the ADA Self-Evaluation and Transition Plan development, DLZ assisted the City of Oak Ridge with evaluation of all facilities within the city, including ROW facilities.

A local subconsultant in the City of Oak Ridge was trained to collect much of the data on

  • 119 miles of sidewalks
  • Over 1570 curb ramps
  • 140 pedestrian signal pushbuttons
  • On-street parking within the public ROW in the city and provided DLZ with all information

DLZ performed an analysis of compliance for all these facilities and developed estimated costs and priority of corrective action for non-compliant locations.
