Cooperativo PV plant, Costa Rica

The 5-MW Cooperativo PV plant is owned by Conelectricas and Coopelesca and is located in the northern plains of Costa Rica. It was built in 2019 as an addition to the renewable energy mix provided by these utilities.

DLZ Carbon was hired to perform the civil and electric balance-of-plant (BoP) design, including access roads, runoff and stormwater management, electrical conduits, service buildings, and control buildings. DLZ Carbon was also assigned the construction supervision of the project.
