Guanacaste Wind Power Plant, Costa Rica

This wind farm was developed under a BOT scheme, promoted by the Instituto Costarricense de Electricidad (ICE) and developed by Consorcio Eólico JES. It consists of 55 ENERCON wind towers, with a height of 45 m. interconnected by an underground collection manifold system to a control building and substation. It is the first BOT wind power project promoted by the Instituto Costarricense de Electricidad (ICE).

DLZ Carbon was hired by Consorcio Eólico JES to develop the bidding document for the BoP contractor, the final design, and construction plans for BoP.
