Bridge Inspection

DLZ engineers provide inspection and rating services in accordance with the National Bridge Inspection Standards (NBIS) and Reports.

We provide a detailed visual inspection of each structure. Any deterioration receives an in-depth inspection including sounding concrete surfaces and measuring section loss found at steel members. We also calculate bridge load ratings, prepare SI&A forms and a summary report outlining inspection findings and various recommendations such as listings of sign postings and schedules for bridge replacement, rehabilitation, and repair.

We work with government agencies and private entities of all sizes, so we understand that you need to make the most of a limited budget.
