DLZ Corporation is pleased to announce the acquisition of the operating assets and goodwill of Terra Testing, Inc., a respected geotechnical and sonic drilling and testing services firm based in Pennsylvania.

The acquisition strengthens DLZ’s drilling operations and expands its geographic footprint throughout Pennsylvania and the Mid-Atlantic region. DLZ will integrate Terra Testing’s experienced workforce of 25 people, specialized geotechnical and sonic drilling equipment, client relationships, and project backlog into its growing drilling services division. The operations will continue as DLZ Terra Testing, Inc., a Pennsylvania subsidiary of DLZ.

Founded in 1972 and incorporated in 1981, Terra Testing has developed expertise in geotechnical and sonic drilling, environmental investigations, subsurface exploration, rock coring, soil sampling, and related testing services. Its specialized fleet of drilling rigs and firm expertise has supported infrastructure, environmental, energy, and development projects throughout the region.
