Materials Testing

Every successful project depends on materials that perform as designed. DLZ provides field and laboratory construction materials testing and geotechnical quality control for soils, rock, aggregate, concrete, asphalt, and plastics, giving owners, contractors, and agencies the confidence that what’s being built will hold up over time.

Confidence built on what's beneath the surface

Our experience spans every type of construction, from buildings and roadways to bridges and dams, and projects of every scale. Whether the need is a single field test or comprehensive program-level quality assurance, our teams bring the same responsiveness and technical rigor, working closely with owners, contractors, and design teams to resolve issues quickly and keep projects moving.

We’re equipped to support projects with five regional laboratories and stand up mobile labs to meet project-specific needs in the field. Our plastics testing lab is independently accredited, a distinction shared by few labs in the region, giving clients access to specialized capabilities not widely available elsewhere.
