Overview
DLZ is working as a subconsultant for Stantec Consulting Services, Inc. on this project, the northernmost section of US 27. The project involves the reconstruction of 4.3 miles of a two-lane roadway with a typical section to a four-lane depressed median.
Process
DLZ’s primary responsibilities for the project are surveying, utility coordination, preparing right of way and signing plans, and attending project and public involvement meetings. DLZ provided preliminary right of way plans to Stantec recently and has completed all surveying requested by Stantec. The project is currently in the final right of way phase and will transition to the final plans development phase as soon as the right of way plans are approved by the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC).
