Delphi, Indiana Celebrates Historic Bridge Restoration

Freedom Bridge, Delphi, Indiana

DLZ celebrated with the City of Delphi, Indiana at their ribbon-cutting ceremony and memorial dedication in recognition of the restored 1897 Freedom Bridge. The 300-foot bridge that sat in pieces at Conner Prairie for over a decade now spans Hoosier Heartland Highway (SR-25) and reconnects the historic Wabash & Erie Canal Association’s Monon Trail. DLZ provided design and construction oversight on the Freedom Bridge project and is very pleased to be a part of this historic reconstruction.
