DLZ Cookbook Campaign Raises $7,000 for Feeding America

DLZ presented a check for $7,000 to Feeding America as part of their 2nd Cookbook Fundraising Campaign. The firm launched the campaign earlier this summer to raise money for Feeding America, a network of food banks, pantries, and meal programs that serve virtually every community in the United States – 40 million people, including 12 million children and 7 million seniors. Ram Rajadhyaksha, Executive Vice President, presented the check to the Mid-Ohio Food Collective (MOFC) in Grove City, Ohio, a network partner of Feeding America. Maureen Doyle, MOFC’s Senior Vice President of Communications, remarked, “The recipe book sounds like such a fantastic idea. Thank you for DLZ’s efforts to support ending hunger.”

The family-inspired recipe book, “Designing a Taste of Summer,” is a successor to the first issue, “Engineering the Perfect Holiday Meal,” released in December 2020. The first cookbook campaign raised over $6,450 in book sales and donations for Feeding America. “Designing a Taste of Summer” is filled with favorite warm-weather appetizers, grilled entrees, decadent desserts, creative cocktails, and more! Employees could purchase the recipe book for just $10 and make a monetary donation, which many graciously chose to do.

For DLZ, giving back is not just a moment but a part of who we are. We believe it’s essential to support organizations like Feeding America, who can help us reach those communities in which we work and live.
