DLZ’s Douglas Road project reopened to the public ahead of schedule and with a very satisfied client. The project scope included topographic survey, roadway design, storm sewer design, lighting design, traffic signal design, roundabout design, landscape design, erosion control permitting, right-of-way engineering, a right-of-way dedication plat and construction inspection services. The project was a strong collaboration between the county commissioners and the university and represents both an improved entrance to the University of Notre Dame as well as safety improvements for the greater community.
