ASCE Michigan Outstanding Civil Engineering Achievement Award

DLZ is pleased to announce that the I-94 at Sprinkle Road Interchange Reconstruction project in Kalamazoo, Michigan received the 2016 Outstanding Civil Engineering Achievement Award. The Michigan Section of the American Society of Civil Engineer’s (ASCE) recognizes projects that demonstrate the highest level of engineering skill and exemplify an aspect of civil engineering, while demonstrating the use of innovations in materials.

When tasked with replacing two deteriorated bridges over I-94 and reconstructing and upgrading the interchange at Sprinkle Road, DLZ was pleased to answer the call. This $17.6 million Michigan Department of Transportation project included two multi-lane roundabouts, local road reconfiguration, and ramp reconstruction.
